Completely remodeled, goes by Safari Suites now Don't rely on the older pics. All new furniture, extremely clean, and great trail access. For an "up north" hotel the place turned out amazing.
Fully renovated rooms here! Very clean, spacious, and up to date.:) I loved the little back patio, it was a pretty view. They even have Hershey kisses for guest, lol.:) I felt at ease and comfortable while staying here. There is a gas station in walking distance, as well. Communication with the owners was easy and they were fast to respond! My only recommendation is maybe adding dry creamer or sugar packets for the coffee! Not a deal breaker, as you can walk to the gas station and grab what you may need. It would just be convenient.:) I would recommend and stay again.
Snowflake tourists from Chicago can't handle a northwoods style motel. It isn't anything spectacular but it's cheap and in town. Are they easy to contact? No. But try any business in the northwoods. I would rather we had a rough motel than another closed business around here.
